Meet Grace Shepherd

A Personal Journey of Faith, Grief, and Grace

Hi, I’m Grace Shepherd, the heart behind this blog. I’m a Christian woman, a single mama to two wonderful kids, and someone who has learned through fire and through favor that God’s grace truly is sufficient.

This blog was born from a season of grief and gratitude. In 2021, I lost my husband, Daniel. His passing left a void I didn’t know how to fill. But even in that pain, I discovered something beautiful: God’s grace doesn’t just show up when everything is right it floods in when everything feels like it’s falling apart.

Grace Filled Pathways became a place for me to write, pray, and reflect on what it means to trust God daily not because I had all the answers, but because I had encountered the One who is the answer.

Meet the Heart Behind the Blog

live in a cozy little home with my two beautiful children:
Elijah is 10—curious, thoughtful, and always asking deep questions about God and the world.
Hannah is 7—full of joy, creativity, and a heart for helping others (especially in the kitchen!).

We’re not a picture-perfect family, but we are held together by a perfect Savior. Most days, you’ll find us singing worship songs, giggling over breakfast, or reading Bible stories under a blanket fort.

I started this blog not because I have it all figured out—but because I know what it’s like to desperately need encouragement, direction, and hope. My prayer is that Grace Filled Pathways becomes that for you—a safe, faith-filled space where you feel seen, uplifted, and reminded of who God is.
